We are proud to announce that CTC advanced has received the accreditation letter EMVCo 3-D Secure approval services.

Information about 3-D Secure

3-D Secure is a secure messaging protocol for CNP (Card Not Present) transactions performed on PCs and mobile devices to enable consumers to authenticate themselves before performing actual transaction authorization processes.

This additional security layer developed by EMVCo aims to prevent credit card fraud online and to safeguard merchants and cardholders.

In Europe, PSD2 (Payment Services Directive 2), initially announced in 2015, mandates such SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) and more and more issuers are adopting EMV 3-D Secure for PSD2 migration.
